About

Hello! I’m a retired software developer and program manager.

I worked for 18 years with NIWC-Pacific (Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific). While at NIWC I did new concept R&D and transition work ranging from 6.2 Applied Research to 6.5 Engineering and Manufacturing Development. I developed software and systems for varied agencies from DHS to the U.S. Navy, including other government agencies.

Before NIWC I also worked at SAIC doing systems modeling and analysis, and with the UCSD Medical Center, where I did rapid prototyping of UX for radiologists in networked digital imaging systems.

At various times I’ve hacked on C, C++, Smalltalk, Java, Common Lisp, Scheme, and Python, and a lot of other custom or ‘systems engineering tools’ best left forgotten.

I live in Southern California with the dogunit and two birbunits, a Shih Tzu, a parakeet, and an Amazon parrot. My hobbies include ballroom dancing, black powder firearms, and, of course, Lisp Machines.

I can be reached at ‘admin@lisp-machine.org‘.
